The successful Tohu Limited Edition "Rore Reserve Pinot Noir 2010 was awarded its second gold medal at the Spiegelau International Wine Competition at the weekend. This is the second gold medal for this successful wine, which also claimed a Blue-Gold/Top 100 Medal at the 2012 Sydney International Wine Competition.
The wine is named in honour of Rore Stafford, a Kaumatua who has long held a revered position within Wakatu and has served on the Wakatu board since 1985. This "limited release' Rore Pinot Noir was specially blended by the Tohu winemaker in response to the truly superb 2010 vintage.
