TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
These terms and conditions apply to the use of this site. By using this site you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you must stop using this site.
Kono Beverages may amend these terms and conditions at any time by updating them on this site. All amendments will be effective immediately upon an update being made. By continuing to use this site following such an update, you agree to be bound by the amended terms and conditions. References on this site to "tohuwines.co.nz", "we" or "us" represent Kono Beverages.
You must be 18 years of age or over to order any wine advertised on this site.
By submitting an order for wine via this site, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or over and that you can produce sufficient evidence of your age if requested by any supplier, by any courier upon delivery of products or by Kono Beverages (e.g. New Zealand Driver’s License or passport). No responsibility can or will be taken by Kono Beverages if you illegally submit an order. You fully indemnify us against any breach or failure of such confirmation which results in any legal action being taken against Kono Beverages or any participating winery or liquor outlet.
We ship within New Zealand only. Our shipping cost is $8 including GST per dozen case or half-dozen case (minimum order or smallest case size is 6 bottles);
Any purchases over 36 bottles in total will be freight free.
We aim to process your order in two working days (Monday to Friday). All parcels are sent by PBT Couriers and are track and traceable. These can be delivered to rural, household and business addresses but not post office boxes. Delivery times are 5-7 working days. Holiday times do have an impact on this, so please factor this in when ordering.
In the rare event that a parcel goes missing or is damaged in transit, it takes some time for compensation to be issued. Both Kono Beverages and you the customer, will have to fill out and return forms as part of the claims process.
We use a secure DPS system and do not hold your credit card details on our server, on our web host’s server or in our system. Prices are in NZ dollars (NZD) and include GST (NZ goods and services tax of 15%)
Your name and contact details are only used by us. We do not pass on our customer’s details to any third party.
We endeavour to have stock of our wines at all times and will indicate when stock is 'sold out'.
Please be precise about where you would like your order to be left if it is delivered while the recipient is out. If the recipient is out during our normal delivery hours 9.00am – 5.00pm, please advise if and where we are able to leave the delivery until they return (e.g back door or front porch). Alternatively please call us on phone 0800 864 894 to discuss directly.
****Kono Beverages does not accept responsibility for orders that are stolen or lost once delivery by PBT has been completed.
All returns must be initiated within 12 days of the purchase date.
In the event that you do receive something from us that is faulty we will pay for the return shipping of the item and either arrange a full refund or an exchange - whichever you would prefer. Refunds or exchanges will not be issued if the fault has been caused by the customer.
Returns must be delivered to Tohu Wines, 16 Bristol Street, Riverlands Estate, Blenheim, New Zealand.
If for any reason you simply change your mind on your order, we will exchange it within two weeks of the order being placed. The wines must be in original condition and be unopened and intact. You will be responsible to pay for the return shipping of the item. No exchange will be arranged until we have received the returned wine. Please note that we can not refund you for any shipping costs that you may have been charged with your original order.

You may cancel your order for any reason whatsoever within 7 working days of receipt of goods provided all of the bottles are unopened and intact. A refund excluding return shipping costs will be given within 30 days from the date you notify us of the cancellation. In order to cancel and / or have your order returned, please contact us with details of your order, on 0800 864 894.
Cancelled orders must be delivered to Kono Beverages, 16 Bristol Street, Riverlands Estate, Blenheim, New Zealand.
