We’ve been producing our own wine since 1998 (when we sold our first 3200 cases) and growing our own grapes since 2002.
In 2012, we bought our very first winery. Based near our vineyards in Marlborough’s Awatere Valley, the winery marked the beginning of a new era for our expanding wine business. For the first time, we could control the entire wine-making process – from vine to bottle.
The modern, fit-for-purpose facility is overseen by our exceptionally talented chief winemaker – Bruce Taylor, who joined us in 2008.
Having a dedicated winery set up to his own exacting requirements enables Bruce and his team to ensure consistency, as well as to control and optimise all aspects of the winemaking process – from growing and sourcing the grapes to making and bottling the wine.
